Prior to joining the U. Dr. Myers was a senior economist for Midland Research a subsidiary of Marine Midland; chief economist and finance officer for UDC's Audubon project in Amherst, and from 1964 to 1971 he was the principal economist for Cornell Aeronautical Laboratories. While employed by CAL, Dr. Myers conducted a study projecting school-population growth for 1990.

Born in Philadelphia, Dr. Myers was educated at Temple Obituaries University and earned his PhD at the University of Wisconsin. He did his dissertation in Sweden as a King Gustav Fellow. Following graduation, Dr. Myers worked for AID, the successor to the Marshall Plan, and held many posts abroad.

He was a member of the American Economic Association and the Unitarian Universalist Church, Amherst. He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Myers; five children by a previous marriage, Mrs. Ralph T. Doty of Washington, D. Peter L.

Dudkowski, Ex Head of VFW Funeral services will be held Friday for Joseph A. Dudkowski, 50, a past commander of the Erie County VFW Council, who died in his home Monday (Nov. 25, 1974). Mr. Dudkowski, a Lancaster native, served with the 25th Infantry in the Pacific in World War II.

He washeater member of Lancaster Post 7275, VFW, serving as its commander in 1961 and 1962. He was active in the Military Order, of the the Cooties, commanding county organization in 1960, 1962 and 1969. He headed the county VFW in 1969 and 1970 and was a Sixth District trustee when he died. He had been a foreman with Tetko Inc. in Alden for nine years.

26, 1974) in Sisters Hospital. Mr. Nester was a railroad employe for 39 years. He was with the Seaboard Coast Line for 13 years before joining the staff of Union Pacific about 1948. Born in Harrisburg, he served as a lieutenant in the U.

S. Army during World War II. He had been a resident of the Buffalo area for about 20 years. Mr. Nester was an active member of the Transportation Club of Buffalo and was a director of the club for seven years.

He served on the Niagara Falls Traffic Club board directors and was a member of the Buffalo Traffic Club, the Dunkirk Traffic Club and the Jamestown Transportation Club. He was a former member of the Delta Nu Alpha transportation fraternity. Surviving are his wife, the former Wilma Burrows; a brother, Donald W. of Los' Angeles, and a sister, Mrs. Gloria Weingartz of Pittsburgh, Pa.
